Today ACEEE released its annual State Energy Efficiency Scorecard report, which ranks all 50 states and D.C. on how “energy efficient” they are. For the fourth year in a row, California tops our list at #1, with Massachusetts close behind at #2. States that made big moves up the ranks this year include Arizona (up 11 spots to #18 ), Utah (up 11 spots to #12), and New Mexico (up 8 spots to #22).
