The Oregon state legislature will be taking up benefit corporation legislation during its short February legislative session. Business voices will be vital to moving this legislation forward during what will be a crowded legislative session. Citizens United
ASBC along with other business organizations released polling data that demonstrates that the Citizens United decision hurts small businesses. The polling press release is available here and the report is available here.
ASBC announced that we reached 1,000 business leader signatures on our petitions supporting a constitutional amendment to reverse the decision that is allowing corporations and others to spend unlimited money to influence elections.
