On July 16, 2013, at 5 pm Hawthorne Valley will host A Declaration of Interdependence in celebration of local living economies in the Hudson Valley and Greater Berkshire Region. This year, we will honor Judy Wicks and her new book Good Morning, Beautiful Business: The Unexpected Journey of an Activist Entrepreneur and Local Economy Pioneer. Following the talk, Judy will have a booksigning; copies of her book will be available for purchase at the event.

A summer cookout will follow featuring local farm products, including Hawthorne Valley meats, condiments, and vegetables, prepared by the Chefs Consortium. Beer and wine from Chatham Brewery and Hudson-Chatham Winery. Live music and dancing will accompany the meal.
