Dear Friends,
Greetings and hope all are having a fruitful summer.
As you might have noticed, we have changed the name of our Caucus from Women’s 2020 Leadership Caucus to Women’s Earth and Climate Caucus. Along with the name change, we are celebrating the exciting development of our Four Initiatives and invite you to join us on September 17th for an update on our recent activities and to continue to hold working sessions with you. We continue to promote the idea that collaborative alliances and collective problem solving are our best hope for an international campaign to reduce carbon emissions and to foster a post-carbon economy and energy future, while also addressing societal transformation.

Some exciting news: The Women’s Earth and Climate Caucus was recently contacted by peaceday.tv to have our Caucus meeting live broadcast for their annual online streaming television event that coincides with the United Nations Peace Day celebrations. The full Peace Day Global Broadcast begins September 17th with the ringing of the Peace Bell from UN Headquarters by the Secretary General, and continues through September 21, the official International Day of Peace. They are showcasing sustainable solutions for achieving the UN Millennium Development Goals.

We are currently inviting several outstanding speakers.

We look forward to seeing you and furthering our work together!
