<p style=Dear Friends,

Best summer greetings. We are writing to you with some important announcements and a special request for your engagement in our work and some volunteer time!

The International Women’s Earth and Climate Summit–From September 20th to 23rd, 2013, 100 global women leaders will convene in New York for a 3.5-day-long Summit. Women from the Global South and Global North, including grassroots activists, economists, scientists, businesswomen, Indigenous leaders, policy-makers, faith leaders, and culture-shapers, will come together to further a women’s climate action agenda. This Summit is not a one-time event, but rather a beginning of long-term campaigns and projects to coordinate women’s voices for our earth and for future generations.

IWECI Delegates  To view the IWECI delegates click here and view IWECI’s profiles of leading women figures and activists, such as Dr. Jane Goodall, Dr. Vandana Shiva, the Hon. Christiana Figures, the Hon. Marina Silva and many more!

Make your voice heard! The participation of women around the world – including you and your friends and colleagus – via live streaming and online interaction is KEY to the success of the Summit. Prior to the Summit, contribute your stories, studies, videos, needs, good practices, and innovative solutions through the IWECI Online Solutions Forum. Your perspectives will be compiled and reviewed by Summit delegates. They want to hear what you think!

Join the Summit from wherever you are!  You can join via interactive live-streaming during the plenary sessions. Or, organize a Vision Hub for your community: gather with friends, family, local organizations or a wider community to watch and interact with the live-streaming plenary sessions. You will be able to interact directly online and interact with women leaders at the Summit.
