The Global Green Economy Index is an annual survey measuring expert perceptions of national green reputations along the dimensions of leadership, policy, investment and tourism. In 2011, 27 countries will be measured in addition to their largest metropolitan area. This project serves as an important tool for nations to monitor how their commitment to sustainability (or lack thereof) is perceived by practitioners with substantive knowledge of these issues. The project is conducted by Dual Citizen Inc. a firm working with governments and international organizations on policy and economic issues related to climate change, cleantech and general sustainability.
