“Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained”. Tim Freundlich, Calvert Foundation’s Director of Strategic Development, recently published a paper with colleagues that evaluates the financial challenges Social Enterprises face as they become more mature and successful. This quickly growing sector lacks access to capital because there are almost no sources of expansion capital for social enterprises.
